Quando hai cominciato a fotografare?

I started taking pictures in the summer of 2011 but only did it professionally since the summer of 2012.

Trad: Ho iniziato a fotografare nell’estate del 2011 ma sono diventato un professionista dall’estate del 2012.

Qual è il tuo genere preferito e perchè?

It’s hard for me to pinpoint my favorite genre. I enjoy shooting seascapes, who doesn’t love to relax and experience a gorgeous sunset while capturing it and bringing it home. Fashion is another favorite since I have such a passion for clothing and working with models who know how to pose for the camera. Seeing my work on billboards and magazines is very satisfying and validates my hard work.

Trad: E’ difficile indicare il mio genere preferito. Mi piace fotografare panorami, chi non ama rilassarsi e godersi uno spettacolare tramonto, ritrarlo e portarselo a casa? Il fashion è un’altro genere che mi piace sin da quando ho avuto la passione per i vestiti e per il lavorare con le modelle che sanno come posare davanti ad una fotocamera. Vedere i miei lavori su cartelloni pubblicitari e riviste è molto soddisfacente e ripaga il mio duro lavoro.

Qual è l’obiettivo che ami di più e di cui non potresti fare a meno?

My favorite lens is the Nikon 85mm 1.4G. It is the perfect focal length for portraits and renders the best bokeh of any Nikon lens I’ve ever shot with.

Trad: la mia lente preferita è il Nikon 85mm 1.4g. Ha la perfetta lunghezza focale per i ritratti e ha il bokeh miglior e di qualsiasi altra lente Nikon che abbia mai provato.

Sogno nel cassetto fotografico?

I try not to dream about the future, I feel dreaming is for one who is not happy with where they are holding in life. I’m happy with my current status and I enjoy looking at my past accomplishments, that’s what makes me happy and pushes me to do better in the future.

Trad: Cerco di non avere sogni sul futuro, penso che il sogno sia per chi non è felice di come conduce la sua vita. Io sono contento del mio status attuale e mi piace guardare ai miei vecchi risultati, che mi rendono felice e mi spingono a dare il meglio di me nel futuro.

Il tuo scatto realizzato preferito?

My favorite shot was “Giants of the Dark” a cityscape of NYC. I spent 3 days and many hours getting this shot. The sky and tide had to be perfect for this shot. The hard work for this picture paid off and I won many awards with it.

Trad: Il mio scatto prefertito si chiama “I Giganti del Buio”, un panorama di New York. Per ottenere questo scatto ho impiegato più di 3 giorni. Il cielo e la marea dovevano essere perfetti per questo scatto. Il duro lavoro per ottenere quest’immagine ha pagato ed ho vinto molti premi grazie ad essa.
